Supporting Veteran Art

“The willingness of America’s veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude.”—Jeff Miller Tweet Quote!

Offering support for our veterans has always been on top of the Arizona Art Alliance’s agenda. Beside the Art of Healing Veterans’ program, the Alliance has also conducted art exhibits to support veterans, veteran art, and raise awareness of veterans’ issues.

In 2013, The Arizona Art Alliance held a Veterans Art Exhibit in Scottsdale, AZ. It was a special 3-week exhibition to pay tribute to Arizona military veterans and to raise awareness of their issues. Watch the following video to view the remarkable art that was shared during the Veterans Art Exhibit.

The Arizona Art Alliance Honoring Our Veterans Art Exhibit Reception & Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony was another show held in 2012 in a month-long event. The Alliance and the Eternal Freedom Foundation of America (EFFA) paid tribute to the Arizona Military Veterans by hosting this art exhibit at the Art Alliance Fine Gallery. The 6,000 square foot gallery featured art created by Veteran artists called “Honoring Our Veterans” and also featured the work of the Alliance juried artists called “America-What a Great Country!” Pictures and art from the exhibit are in the following video.

It is our privilege to have such self-sacrificing individuals serve our country and to protect our freedoms; it is also our responsibility to honor our veterans and show our gratitude for their great service and all the sacrifices they have made. Like Elmer Davis once said, “This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.” Tweet Quote!

The Arizona Art Alliance will remain a home to the arts of veterans and will always look for ways to support them and show our appreciation.
